In late 2020 I became very interested in language AI models. One that really fascinated me at the time was GPT. Now GPT models seem to be integrated with everything, due to the exploding popularity of ChatGPT, but at the time it was a neat concept to explore. I was interested in seeing if I could get a small GPT2 model I had obtained to run on a device with such limited resources as a phone.

As phone resources have improved I upgraded the model on the phone, and it is much more coherent now than the previous version.
